"Fake News," and you know what I'm talking about DS. Lol!
And that, my friend, is why I don't believe in evolution, or man-made global warming, for that matter.
Ini and Phil - not really fake news, but what I like to call incomplete or biased; here is the explanation: https://www.bostonglobe.com/news/nation/2017/04/19/these-photos-show-patriots-white-house-turnout-for-trump-obama/bSrXdd9bP2sgczgb1J10RL/story.htmlAlso Phil - evolution is not a belief system - it's the best explanation of the entirety of observation and experimentation. Besides, nobody really gives a rip if you "believe" in it or not - science is not a matter of opinion.
Whoa! Why do you call me Phil rather than Paul or Patrick? Maybe I think evolution is a belief system because I've been reading the wrong books. Can you recommend something that will change my mind?
May I join the fray? Read the interesting article referenced. There are many others out there with different takes. I plugged in "did tom brady go to the white house?" at info.com (beats Google) and got the usual umpteen references. My favorite is that Tom Brady's liberal wife didn't want him to go because she's a Trump hater. So, in order to preserve domestic piece, Brady made up some BS story and stayed home.
Elementary my dear Phil - I am a bit psychic and a cunning linguist, so it was easy to figure out :-) Suggested reading - start with The Language of God by Francis Collins, head of the NIH and the most public scientist/evangelical Christian. Also about Brady - skipping for his wife I believe is fake news; as far as I know, he was involved with taking care of his mother who has cancer.
You just about have me there, Dr. S. All I need to find is evidence of transition species as would be indicated by the fossil record. Will let you know when I get that final piece of the puzzle.
