DANCE WITH ME
Tim Day and Charlie Hall played this song together on guitar at this year's Roots Music Camp - it was mesmerizing. Here are several versions, some of which might surprise you:

MOSES & BEN AT THE MALL
Since I am not particularly proficient at any second language, I am always impressed, intrigued and envious of those who are fluent in more than one language. Thus, I am thoroughly taken with these two polyglots - I particularly enjoy the looks of the faces of the folks when Moses and Ben start speaking their native language - enjoy!

EXPLAINING COEXIST
In response to the Sign of the Times post, a faithful reader sent me the image below. Sadly, although it as a bit hyperbolic, it conveys much truth. I might run the risk on making it on to some jihadist's list for fatwā, but being an insignificant commentator, I am not too concerned. Nearly every day I read of atrocities carried out in the name of Islam - Sunnis killing Shiites, Shiites killing Sunnis, Muslims killing Christians [and of course vice versa], and the most outrageous, Boko Haram ["Western Education is Sin"] kidnapping girls, slaughtering villagers, and so on. As long as there are radical fundamentalists, regardless of the religion, there will not be any coexistence. The current chaos in Iraq should give the US some food for thought the next time Washington decides to invade some country in order to 'make things better'. We can see that killing Saddam really made Iraq the poster-country for US intervention.

PETER GUNN - ADAM GARDINO
I once again had the privilege of being a volunteer at Charlie Hall's Colorado Roots Music Camp - this is the 9th annual event, held at Rocky Mountain Mennonite Camp near Divide, Colorado. There were many amazingly talented instructors, but here is a piece played by a former camper, Adam Gardino. Adam won the 2012 finger-picking competition at Winfield [The Walnut Valley Festival], and the live rendition of this tune was stunning - enjoy!!!
