Some of you who have been hanging around this blog for a while will remember the murder of Goshen College Biology Professor James Miller and my post of November 7, 2011, that can be found here. Now, after 7 years, an arrest has been made and a criminal case is being prepared against Winston Corbett, 23, who was 16 at the time of the murder. A very interesting series of reports culminating with the story of the arrest can be found here. The press conference of the Elkhart County Prosecutor's Office regarding the arrest can be found here.
Perspectives of a Colorado Curmudgeon on topics ranging from Basketball to Music to Science & Religion to Travel to Memories, touching on a bit of everything.

ACROSS THE GREAT DIVIDE
A great Kate Wolf tune
I've been walkin' in my sleep
Countin' troubles 'stead of countin' sheep
Where the years went I can't say
I just turned around and they've gone away
Countin' troubles 'stead of countin' sheep
Where the years went I can't say
I just turned around and they've gone away
I've been siftin' through the layers
Of dusty books and faded papers
They tell a story I used to know
And it was one that happened so long ago
Of dusty books and faded papers
They tell a story I used to know
And it was one that happened so long ago
It's gone away in yesterday
Now I find myself on the mountainside
Where the rivers change direction
Across the Great Divide
Now I find myself on the mountainside
Where the rivers change direction
Across the Great Divide
Now, I heard the owl a-callin'
Softly as the night was fallin'
With a question and I replied
But he's gone across the borderline
Softly as the night was fallin'
With a question and I replied
But he's gone across the borderline
He's gone away in yesterday
Now I find myself on the mountainside
Where the rivers change direction
Across the Great Divide
Now I find myself on the mountainside
Where the rivers change direction
Across the Great Divide
The finest hour that I have seen
Is the one that comes between
The edge of night and the break of day
It's when the darkness rolls away
Is the one that comes between
The edge of night and the break of day
It's when the darkness rolls away
And it's gone away in yesterday
Now I find myself on the mountainside
Where the rivers change direction
Across the Great Divide
Now I find myself on the mountainside
Where the rivers change direction
Across the Great Divide
And it's gone away in yesterday
Now I find myself on the mountainside
It's where the rivers change direction
Across the Great Divide
