Not sure what makes some folks number-watchers, but the counter on the right side of this page has passed 100,000 Total Pageviews. Compared to many blogs, that is a piddly number, but for something that does not have a singular focus or theme, it's not too bad [not too bad is a Midwest compliment!]
. To be perfectly honest, there are some net crawlers that every once in a while happen across this site - this can be seen in the daily graph of visits - a steady stream with a huge spike linked to statistics from some odd-ball place like Russia or Ukraine.
So keep coming back for a visit now and then, and of course, your comments and opinions are appreciated.
The management.

Congratulations on the views milestone! Have not been adding to it much lately since going back to work, plus am taking a class in advanced income tax. Am doing standardized test grading for McGraw-Hill. It is full time, but the project ends in about two or three weeks. Then another one starts about three or four weeks after that and goes for about five weeks.
Thanks Bizzy - when I heard that you became 'unretired', I thought that might be the reason for your absence here! Don't work too hard!
Don't forget, there are many people who check back simply to read the entertaining comments. Lol!
You make a good point, Sick One. Everyone's ears perk up when Nostradumbass makes a prediction in comments.
I really do need to do my best, DES, to avoid the walk of shame. Am evaluating essay questions which requires good subjective judgment. We have guidelines, but some people don't have the knack for applying those guidelines, thus didn't meet standard. In the early days of my project, practically everyday a small group of evaluators were asked to gather their things from their cubes and were then lined up in the aisle and marched off to the math and science section where the grading was objective and something they could handle. They got stares and snickers.
Gang - always good to hear from folks, and yes, Nostra, your prescience is always appreciated!!
Since you are now back in Malibu for awhile, maybe it's time for your readers to revisit this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bG2Fo0uG_oU
Yes Bizzy - we have driven around the Marisol and I am not real impressed. It's nice, on a bluff overlooking the Pacific, but you have to walk across PCH to get to the beach, and it's clear up at County Line. The saving grace of that is that it is close to Neptune's Net :-)
