During the past several weeks, we have received over 5 feet of snow - you'd think we were in Boston! But, I suppose that since we are in Colorado, we should expect this sort of thing. It will be good for the water supply, and it has not been too hard on the back - it's been mainly powder, but it's still heavy when there are a couple of feet! Supposed to be much warmer the next few days, so we will next be dealing with ice as the melting snow freezes during the night time.

"Frost, party of four, your table is ready."
bes - made me chuckle. I did clear of the table and chairs yesterday, so indeed the table for four is ready!
With the freezes and thaws, there are some amazing icicles around town, roof to ground - but been too lazy to take some pictures :-)
Also - noted that the start of Iditarod may have to be moved because of lack of snow. The organizer is getting real tired of folks suggesting that they move it to Boston. They have only had 20 inches of snow in Anchorage - we have had three times that in a couple of weeks!
Good one, bes! Last time I remember snow piling up that high in Indiana was 1978. BTW, no one is stopping you from wintering in FL, AZ, or CA. Lol!
Bizzy - glad to chase the warmth if you would like to bankroll us!!
With relatives in CA and FL, all you would need to spend is the gas to get there. Lol!
BB - why didn't I think of that??!! Har - sister has cats, and I am allergic, so a no-go there. Now, the Florida cousins.... :-)
