This is the logo for the
California Healthcare Foundation. To me, it is a very clever design, and it took me just a few moments to appreciate its full content. Share a comment on what you first saw and how long it took you to see the intentions of the designer - a rather intelligent designer at that!
I first saw the San Andreas fault, then I saw the three faces, then the green color indicating green initiatives. Then I saw the retreat of a suppressed libido into the realm of an ultra-conscious mysticism. Just kidding about the last one, but it IS California. Will skip the part about the vaginal canal.
ReplyDeleteHA! I first saw the state with some sort of digestive tract running through it; then I saw two faces; then I saw the third face. I like the San Andreas fault sighting.
ReplyDeleteIn addition to the above, the green image on the right looks like a fist grasping a knife or razor.
ReplyDeleteHmmm - fist, knife or razor - feeling a little aggressive there triple S? Looks more like a truncated version of the Statue of Liberty arm holding the torch :-)
ReplyDeleteHey - I see Alfred Hitchcock in the green portion where CA meets AZ!!!!
ReplyDeleteKeen eye there, Hoosier!
